<div align=justify>Cultural events in the form of festivals go on year long in Deer Valley and the surrounding area. Depending on what time of year you visit; you may be able to go to one of these spectacular annual events. If you enjoy art, music, film, food, or fun; you will definitely want to plan your vacation to include a festival experience.

For the summer visitors to Deer Valley, the Park City Arts Festival is usually held at the beginning of August. It showcases the artwork of more than 200 artists. There's usually a selection of art available to buy including painting, glass, wood work, fabric, and photography. Whether you're browsing or wanting to purchase something, there's much to look at. This event includes wonderful food, live entertainment, and kid-friendly activities. Be ready to face a crowd. They close Main Street in Park City to traffic however shuttles are available to take you to the festival.

If you are visiting in January, watch out for the Hollywood actors and actresses that decend upon this mountain town for the yearly Sundance Film Festival. This 10-day festival brings out the movie stars, but it's open to the public as well. Film screenings are available at reasonable prices. If you would enjoy seeing what is new in independent and international film making including short movies, documentaries, and feature-length films; this is a must-see event. A complementary event that is also worth traveling for is the Park City Film Music Festival which is in its fourth year and is held in January as well.

Additional music festivals include the Park City International Music Festival. This event is held once a year in July and is in its 23rd year. This event is designed for the connoisseur of classical music and highlights classical soloists from all around the country performing together. This is an opportunity to see a group of world-class musicians performing in an beautiful, mountain setting. For guests who love jazz, Deer Valley Resort holds the annual Park City Jazz Festival in August. The splendor of the outdoor amphitheater combined with great music makes for a remarkable and unforgetable event.

Whether or not your vacation coincides with a festival; the environment is certain to provide a cultural event to your liking. Concerts, good food, and artistic expression is found in abundance in this charming mountain town. Check the local newspapers as soon as you arrive to see what is available to treat your palate or your artistic feelings.</div>
