<div align=justify>For those candidates taking the Oral Ob Gyn boards in 2007 and beyond, please be aware of the following trends that have been noted regarding questions appearing in the exam: Since 2001: Urogynecology is strongly emphasized Since 2002: Primary Care is strongly emphasized 2006: Peri-operative complications Additional issues that appeared for the first time in the 2006 exam which all future candidates should be ready to answer: 'Hard Core' Internal Medicine (as opposed to Ob/Gyn): Management of asthma Management of hypertension Management of angina Management of diarrhea (in multiple different settings) Management of dyslipidemia Management of chronic headache Management of depression OB topics: HPV vaccination Ambiguous genitalia Primary amenorrhea (be aware that this could also lead into a discussion on ambiguous genitalia!) Mangement of peri-oeprative complications: Pre-op hypercalemia Pre-op hyperglycemia Post-op hypovolemia Pre-op alcohol intoxication Candidates for this exam should consider trying to find as many examples as possible, of past questions. You are advised to review them as best as possible. </div>
