Overlook small jobs: These web design firms are not interested in small jobs. They forget that some of the small jobs may lead to substantial business in future. c. Bureaucracy: It may sound odd for a private organisation, however a lot of people I have spoken to in the last few months have mentioned it to me. People have told me that a lot of staff in these organisations is unable to take a decision themselves and thus it takes a lot of time to get any information from these firms. This leads to inability in providing prompt service to the customer. 4. Web Design Firms with focus on Customer: There are a very few Web Development Firms in the market that focus on providing high level solutions with best possible customer service. The trademarks of these web design firms are: a. Prompt Service: These web design firms will promptly return customer calls and endeavour to keep customer informed at every step. b. Flexibility: These web development firms are flexible to incorporate customer requirements at any stage of the process. For them customer interests are paramount. c. Educate the customers: Web Design firms focussed on Customer Service are ready to educate customers. They always give the pros and cons of each function a customer wants to incorporate in his/her website. This makes customer aware of the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. d. Take a pro-active approach: These web design firms take a pro-active approach in the customers’ projects. They keep customers informed of the new options available to them and how their business can benefit with those options.
