In any case you know that strong measures have to be taken in order to keep your personal finances safe! <BR>First of all, take the problem of identity theft seriously and make a push to protect yourself! Select the clever password that only you and nobody else can compute! <BR>- If you get different solicitations from banks and credit card companies (they like to send any promo materials), your name is in the mailing lists. Remove it from there! <BR>- And one more good advice-shred any of your paperwork that relates to your finances! Thieves look for any information even in your garbage dumpsters! <BR><BR>Following all these simple rules your identity still has a small chance to be stolen. If it suddenly happens to you, contact the bank as soon as possible! Not only your money can be stolen but also your credit history can be damaged. It will be a difficult and long time to get back on your track after the fact of identity theft.
