The right to life is one of a person’s basic rights protected by law.


Safety of a person’s life and his well-being should always be the main concern of any employer. It is the employer’s duty to provide a safe working place for the employees.

• Provide proper safety equipments for construction workers.


• Put signage that could warn the public of the hazardousness of the place.


• Properly secure open wirings.


• Be sure that the foundation or the building is stable even if it is under construction so that it will not collapse on the workers.

- In most cases, the victims sustain head injuries because of falling debris.

It is important to establish that the owner has prior knowledge of the unsafe working condition and still chose to do nothing about it.


The victim must document the accident. This is crucial to prove the severity of the accident.
