Describe What You’re Doing

A lot of people really want to know how a company is doing. I’m not talking about just sales or just their placement within the market, but who the people are working at the company. They want to know what the new things are that the company is planning, and what they’ll be doing with existing projects.

When I have a store I really enjoy shopping at I like to be aware of the plans that store has and what their future is. Finding the perfect store, especially for certain kinds of products, is not always an easy thing to manage. Sometimes it’s nice to know more about a store once I do start to shop there regularly.

That’s why more companies should have as a part of their print services a newsletter to send out to people to let them know what the company is up to at any given time. Cover promotions, cover new leadership, and cover new product developments and new ad campaigns you plan on trying to use.

Go over the sales, the areas you’re looking to improve in and the areas you’re doing great in. There are all sorts of details that people like to have knowledge of.

When a release gets delayed for whatever reason, you can have your nice newsletter printing to explain to people what the hold up is and when you’ll be able to get back on track. If you had a particularly great year thank your customers and send them some free coupons with the newsletters.

All of this is easy to accomplish, and acts as a very strong direct mail advertising. Here you have a chance to tell people about upcoming sales and other specials in the future.

And if your business is small, don’t let that get in your way. This means people will be even more interested in knowing what you’re up to because they’ll feel closer to your company. You don’t have to do the fanciest things with your newsletter. Take something like CorelDraw and design a newsletter yourself.

The smaller your company is the more personal the newsletter will become, and that can be a very good thing if you’re looking to get people more connected with you and your business. Consider it a strong form of networking. Given that you’re a part of the community, what you do is going to have a direct impact on your neighbors, and that means they’ll have even more interest in knowing what’s going on.

There are all different forms of marketing out there, and often a strong marketing push can be a matter of letting people know who you are and what your business is going. Describe how your feeling all the time, and you’ll be able to develop a loyal and strong of a customer base.
