As everybody knows, there are lots of money making programs on the net. Affiliate marketing, filling in surveys, MLM-programs, selling E-zines…These are all relatively new terms that are invading the market. I asked myself the following question: “if a program works, why do people give up?” Why do people stop doing something that helps them making easy money? I just didn’t understand because it makes no sense at all! I did a lot of research on the net, searching for answers, and I’d like to share my results: • The number one reason is that there are so many SCAM programs on the net that people often judge working programs as SCAM. If a program doesn’t get them the results they wished for, they call it SCAM…even if it’s not. If they would have taken the time and effort it required, they would have had another opinion. • Most of the people joining Money Making Programs give up before they earn their first dollar! People who continue their program until they have their first earnings usually continue. Once you have your first dollar, others follow much easier. • Sometimes people just don’t begin a program. They buy it, read it, and see that it is not exactly what they are looking for. This is mostly because of bad information on the marketing website. Most of these sites give lots of information about the possibilities, but never clearly explain how the program works. (For example: most of them say: you don’t have to this or that…and a whole list of items, but they don’t say what exactly they will have to do). I had a question about this one that was quite interesting: “Why do people don’t ask for a refund of their money?” It’s true that only a very small part of them ask their money back, why? Because most of the programs come with lots of extras…and people keep these to help them with another business…they keep paying the program for the extras they got with it! • Lack of motivation. People read everyday ‘make lots of money without working, get started in 15minutes’. It sounds too good to be true. And it is! If you don’t work, you won’t make any money, it’s as simple as that, but mostly people continue on dreaming. • Lack of internet skills. Most programs are made for the average internet user. Extra skills are very helpful tools ! HTML-knowledge, knowing how search engines work…all this can be learned. People who have to learn it while starting their business are often discouraged after a week or so. It’s better to learn all if this before starting an e-business. • People don’t make the expected amount of money in the expected time. This looks much like the first 2 points, but it isn’t the same. This usually happens with more experienced people. They already have 1 or 2 running programs and want to have another stream of income…Because of their knowledge they can easily start a new working business. If this business doesn’t get them the money they expected, they simply stop working with it. I know most of this seems very logical, but it’s like this. If everybody knew these basic things, and kept all of this in mind, I’m pretty sure half of them wouldn’t give up.
