Have you had Trouble Getting the right Snowboard Helmet?

Lets Face it, when it comes to buying all this snowboarding gear, sometimes it can be hard to get something that is the right size, shape, colour, style or even something that is suitable for what you need, at a suitable price. When choosing a snowboard helmet you need to consider What you want and need. Remeber that there are different shapes, and the circumference is not the shame, the shape will not always fit on you head, so its a good idea to measure, so you can get an idea of what size you need. Checking out Ski Helmet Reviews can be an excellent idea, a great site for snowboard helmet infomation is http://www.womens-snowboards.com/ski-helmet-reviews.html Make sure it fits, For a child, a helmet that you can "grow into" is not a good idea, it needs to be the right size in order work, and althought buying a bigger size could seem like a good idea cost wise, you are buying a helmet for a reason, so you really need it to work! Finding you size: All you need to do is measure your head, find the distance around your head, measure the largest part with a tape measure. Start just above your eyebrow, and then find the circumference of your head, this is your helmet size. Putting on the helmet: You need the helmet to sit correctly, this is by having the frount rim on your eyebrow. Check you straps, and use them to roll your helmet on to your head. Always check for Gaps, these are not good, you need the padding to be supported agaist your head, make sure its snug... but not uncomfortable... after all you will be riding in it all day. Once the straps are secured, if your helmet does not move when you try and roll it off, you have found the helmet for you! And a final thought: Ensure your goggles fit correctly with you helmet, it pays to try them on when buying, to make sure all you gear is compatible. So why not go out and find the perfect helmet for you... use you head!
