The Heckler and Koch USP or universal self loading pistol is making huge waves on the competitive shooting scene. With so many firearms to choose from, the professionals are choosing Heckler & Koch firearms. With the no compromise motto at Heckler & Koch you can ensure that any HK firearm you acquire will be for the same reliability as any other high quality HK gun. Featuring a price tag from around seven hundred to a few thousand there is sure to be a HK pistol for every type of shooter.

The HK USP has become the classic competition pistol, due to the reliable design, and recoil absorbing features, makes shooting fast and accurately something that doesn’t require a second thought. The Heckler and Koch pistol is also a must have among many concealed carry and law enforcement communities. Sure with the adopting by the US Special Forces, that should speak for its self, but the HK P2000 is also getting a lot of support within these same communities.

The Heckler & Koch P2000 is designed in nine millimeter and makes shooting the HK handgun more affordable, and more ideal for people who generally don’t care for the 45’s recoil. With a wide range of tactical accessories these HK firearms are only limited by your check book. During my research shooting the HK P2000 I found that, it was not only safe, but also very comfortable to shoot. Considering the range of Heckler and Koch firearms, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to discover that HK developed the USP in a wide range of popular calibers for the tactical and competitive shooters.

Heckler & Koch handguns cover all the main areas, with the 9mm, 357 Sig, 40 Smith & Wesson, and the 45, there is sure to be a Heckler & Koch firearms for all types of shooters, no matter what your caliber preference is. Considering the over one hundred years of firearms production, it comes as no shock that most shooters prefer to stick with what they come to trust.

The Heckler & Koch USP comes in a wide range of after market modifications such as the USP compact, USP elite, & USP expert to quench the desire of any shooter. With the polymer plastic design, the Heckler & Koch firearm are dependable under hellish conditions, which is why more and more shooters will only shoot Heckler & Koch firearms. For any competitive shooter I would recommend any of these remarkable firearms for any customer or friend who wants to begin competing, but doesn’t know where to start.

Organizations like IDPA are seeing many Heckler & Koch pistols joining their members ranks and holsters. In the coming years and many new HK developments I am excited to see where this company will go next. Considering Heckler & Koch rose from the ashes of Mauser Arms, and took the firearm industry by storm, it is anybody’s guess to see where Heckler & Koch will go from here.

The Mauser produced rifles and pistols are some of the most desirable firearms to collectors, and still can be found in many collector groups. With Mauser’s well established reputation, its no wonder that HK is the go to brand for pistols. And in the future of military and civilian weapons, we are sure to see Heckler and Koch firearms for the foreseeable future.
