On the two previous occasions, they have been crowned champions and they are eager to win it this time and make it three in a row. This would be a huge achievement for the team and the record can go on to stay for a long time, if they do manage it. Right now, everyone is predicting Australia to win the tournament based on their recent player and team performance. All ardent supporters of Australia will surely like their team to win the event and once again become world cup cricket champions. India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are the three teams that have won world cup cricket only once. These teams would certainly like to change the records and win the coveted trophy once gain this time in the West Indies. All these countries have players of world class quality in their line up and if all of them perform to their potential in the tournament, no on can stop them from winning the title. However, we all know that it is crucial for every team member to perform consistently well to win the cup and this is what is found to be lacking in most of the teams. West Indies being the host of world cup cricket has many advantages to its name like crowd support, favorable weather and ground conditions. We will have to wait and see if the team is able to make full use of these advantages and win the trophy. Only time will tell.
