Football transfers " HOW BIG WILL THEY GO"

I have decided to write an article today about transfers in Football or Soccer maybe to those living in America. You see I recently learned today that Owen Hargreaves will be on his way to Manchester United in the summer for a sum thought to be around £17 million. I do rate Owen Hargreaves very highly and feel he has done a fantastic job for England in their campaigns under Sven Goran Erikkson but is he worth £17million. I believe he is because he is a great central midfielder and lets just say we have seen worser players bought for more money particularly by Manchester United. Can anyone say Juan Sebastian Veron my point exactly. On top of this I have been reading alot of transfer rumours in Football lately and one in particular is Didier Drogba being linked with A.C. Milan for £28 million again questionable but i do agree he is worth the money. The reason I believe this is that he has finished the season top goalscorer in the Premiership and was arguarbly the difference in the F.A. Cup final against Manchester United scoring the winning goal. If however he was already at A.C. Milan and he was top goalscorer in Serie A with 20 goals in the league I wouldn't agree. You see the English Premier League for me is undoubtedly the most difficult league in the world to play in. Having said that Didier Drogba has proved his worth after being bought for £24 million a sum that many people including myself felt was far too steep for a player many people had not even heard of. After this my conclusion is how big will transfers go Gerrard, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka will anybody ever break that £48 million mark made by Zinedine Zidane although I don't believe any of these players are better then Zinedine Zidane.
