Run a Cell Phone Lookup - Prevent a Friend's Heart Attack
On Saturday, a friend visiting from out of town went on a date with someone he met online. I tried to talk him into getting more information on his date by running a cell phone lookup, but the big man insisted he'd be fine. I wasn't convinced. Men think they are invincible, but they can and do fall prey to foul play.
On Monday I was expecting my friend to come over as we'd agreed earlier; he never showed. I kept doing my thing for a while, and by late afternoon decided to call him. There was no answer. I was beginning to think the worst.
Why didn't I get him to check out his date in a cell phone directory? Why didn't I get his date's name out of him so that I can do a cell phone lookup? At least I would have had an idea of my friend's whereabouts and could have called the person he went out with to ask about him. It would have come in handy if I had to go to the police.
By now I was pacing, imagining the worst, when my phone rang. My friend launched into a lengthy explanation as to why he couldn't make it and wasn't there to take my call. I knew he had just awakened after a weekend-long party and just smiled to myself. I was just relieved to hear he was okay.
