Here is a simple five step formula that will help you get any goal that you set.

    Step 1: Inner Harmony

Inner harmony means that all the forces in your mind have the same focus.

Let's take, as an example, a person on a diet. Most people can't stick to a diet because they hold as one of their options the idea that they can break the diet.

They are in internal conflict. One part of their mind is saying "stick to the diet" and another part of their mind is saying "eat whatever you want."

While ever you hold both the option for success and the option for failure you will experience the stress of conflict. The secret to removing the temptation to give up on your goal is simply removing the option from your mind.

The dieter says "I will go off the diet just this once and then I'll get back on it." Guess what? They were never on it! If they were on it then breaking it would not have been an option.

Decide what you want and then remove all other possibilities from your mind. If you do this then you will find an inner peace that will keep you on target. This inner peace is called "being in harmony" with your objective.

    Step 2: Power

Power comes from the combination of three elements:-

    - The knowledge you need, or the knowledge of where to get the knowledge you need.
    - The experience you need, or the ability to recruit that experience.
    - The passion you get from having an inspiring goal.

    Step 3: Faith

I'm sure that you are familiar with the proverb "faith can move mountains."

When it comes to achieving your goals you need to have the faith that you will succeed no matter what. If you have such faith it will help you move obstacles or find a way around them.

If there were no obstacle between you and your goal then you have set too small a goal. An inspiring goal will always require you to do things that you have never done before and to become a new and better person in the process.

Set the biggest goal that you can generate total faith in.

    Step 4: Courage

In the course of achieving an inspiring goal you will meet many difficult situations that will require you to draw on courage.

The first of these will usually be to have the courage to ignore all the people who are only too happy to tell you that you should give up on the goal because you will never get it.

Then you will have times when thinks go wrong and you feel like giving up. Again you will need to draw on courage.

    Step 5: Action

You often hear about people with such powers of manifestation that they just think of something and it appears. It sounds great, but it has never happened to me. In fact, I do not know one single successful person who just had success appear in front of them.

An essential ingredient in any success is massive, goal directed action.

So now you have the five steps; harmony, faith, power, courage and action. It is up to you to use them.
