Learning Hypnosis For New Positive Behaviors


Through learning hypnosis, you will be able to transform your negative behaviors, replacing them with different ones that help you in a positive manner.


The New Year often sees us making resolutions that we promise we will keep. Despite our good intentions, by mid February we have reverted back into our previous habits. It doesn't seem to matter how much determination or will power we have. We find ourselves disappointed by our bad behavior and less eager to attempt change, and thus risk failure once again.


Why do many people find it difficult to change, even when they would be so much happier in their lives? The simple answer lies in the power of our subconscious. We may truly have only good intentions and feel that we want to change, yet our minds do not allow us to do so. Only when our entire being desires to change, will it be successful.


The subconscious shapes our behavior patterns following what is called programming. Our programming is based on our life experiences, assumptions and many beliefs and ideas received in childhood. Often we are not even aware of our programming but it is still always there in the background affecting our thoughts and actions constantly.


Part of human nature is hard-wired and has no intrinsic value. This description pertains to habits. If people perform a task or have a thought repeatedly, their subconscious minds will go into auto-pilot. From then on, people no longer have to consciously think about those acts or thoughts. They just happen. This phenomenon happens when people practice, utilizing repetition to improve and automate their actions.


Accessing our subconscious requires a key, hypnosis. With hypnosis, we can affect lasting changes to our subconscious wiring. The trance state we enter gives us access to our innermost thoughts and desires, even ones we haven't voiced. From this trance, we can plant suggestions and alternative modes of behavior that will serve our needs more effectively. In a hypnotic state, we are more open to suggestion. Our subconscious is more receptive to new behaviors and ideas. Beware; hypnosis is not a sleep state. Instead, it can be defined as a state of focus and hyper-wakefulness.


Creating your own programs is based on either particular goals, or a desired result that you have in mind. This is done by using the conscious part of your mind that uses willpower and reason. The next step is bringing your goals to your subconscious mind. This can be done by using hypnosis. Once your subconscious mind absorbs the suggestions, you will begin to reach your goals, because both the conscious and subconscious mind are working together and are in harmony.


Once you learn hypnosis and are able easily achieve a state of trance, you will find that change is no longer difficult. With repeated hypnosis sessions, you can eliminate and reduce many compulsive and destructive behaviors, but more importantly, you can cultivate positive actions and habits that will continue to bring you dividends throughout life.
