Desperation versus Passion: What will it take to Achieve your Goals?


To want is a natural emotion and all human beings want something, but only a few get what they want. Goal setting is one way of achieving your wants, by carefully planning and taking steps which keep you in action and propels you forward so that you can achieve your dreams and gain the success you want. However you may not realize that attitude to goal setting is vital and a positive attitude is not the only key to successfully achieving your goals in life. If your attitude is one of desperation this could be a hard up wards struggle which will lead you to upset more than success even if you remain positive.

Consider your attitude if you are attempting to achieve success in a business venture, if you are desperately trying to do it you may be anxious of failing, this mind sets creates unease in you. The unease surfaces every time something goes wrong or doesn't go to plan the way you thought it might. It also is present when you are doing non -related tasks and you could experience this as stress. The feeling of desperation also blocks our create juices and tends to make us react instead of being inspired. You may now be affected by stress from your goal setting which was supposed to give you success.

Now consider how you feel when you are passionate about something, for most people the concept of anxiety does not come into the feelings of passion. Passion tends to engender in us feelings of wholesomeness and wellbeing, creativity, fulfillment and determination.

Re look at your goals in life and make a list of what you are passionate about. It might be that the passion needs to be positioned in the steps you take to achieve your goals. By doing this you will lessen the stress in your goals and make fulfilling steps towards achieving your wants.
