A Brief Overview of the Positive and Negative Results of the Bourbonā€™s Reforms

Unnecessary to state that the Bourbon reforms engineered the expand dissatisfaction in Spanish America. It is to my mind that as a result the Bourbons reached is the opposite one of what they aimed. Though they got a financial benefit the monarchy oppressed the nation by their boundaries and finally lost the total control. An ineffectual attempt to amend the state's traditions, language, beliefs and way of living evidently was going to cause dissatisfaction and soon revolution.
Though we do see real progress in New Spain, such as developing of mining and commerce, with so lots of limits and rules it is not a secrecy why the crowds upraised. Bourbon ruling deposited the conditions for the fight for Independence of Mexico that took place about a hundred years afterward. The superciliousness of the Bourbon Monarchy is outrageous, the ethnic discrimination and mistreatment of so many people was undoubtedly the enough cause for a rebellion of such a size that it happened in Mexico.
I suppose that the Bourbonā€™s Reforms may be tied to Mexico's present situation. The authoritarian regime that was enforced worked to divide the high class from the crowds. In handling the creoles and the poor like machines to make the king prosperous they formed a divided country, in which the minority benefits from the misery of others. This is an apparent difficulty that Mexico is living with these days; the taxes paid by the working people are exploited to enlarge the riche public persons. at the moment more than ever the community is understanding the level of corruption that takes place in their motherland and dissatisfaction is seen in the public. We can only expect that new forthcoming generations would learn from the previous faults and correct them.
