Prime Minister of Armenia and presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan has announced his election program. The program is at www.serjsargsyan.am web portal. The program consists of 8 pages in 6 sections.
“In our country the political development must be based on the guarantees of human dignity, freedom, equality, rule of law and principles of democracy,” the program says.
The prime minister shared an opinion according to which the presidential elections of 2008 will prove that the improvement of the electoral process, conduct of democratic elections have become a tradition in Armenia. “Today more than ever we must focus on the future and not cancel our abilities in improper debates about the failures of the past. Instead, we must cooperate and engage in constructive dialogue around issues and aims that relate to our national and state priorities and look into the future,” the program says.
