Vision Media Productions Wins 2007 International Videography Award of Excellence

Vision Media has been known to tackle the misconceptions of the Bible, but when it was awarded The Videographer for their efforts this year, they were extremely pleased to have been recognized on such an international level. Vision's Message to the Seven Churches, which takes a look at the opening chapters of Revelation from an unusual angle, was shot on location in ancient cities on the Greek island of Patmos and throughout Western Turkey and judged "among the best submitted" by The Videographer Awards.

The Videographer is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, which sets standards of excellence and provides judges to seek out companies and individuals "whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry." The Award of Excellence is the competition's most prestigious media award, given only to projects deemed "written, produced, shot and edited in an exceptional manner."

The 2007 award is among the many honors Vision Media Productions has been awarded by the industry. Consistently, Vision documentaries garner attention for high standards of excellence, and previously released videos have received multiple awards in various categories.

"Although the book of Revelation paints a detailed picture of a time of unparalleled destruction and catastrophe coming upon the earth, these letters to the seven churches lay out the way to peace of mind in an uncertain and fearful age as well as the source of strength and encouragement to overcome the greatest of all challenges," says Edwin Stepp, media director of Vision Media.

"We're honored that our efforts have been recognized on an international scale. The attention we have paid to maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy in our print, online and video media is directly connected to the personal standards of everyone involved in the project," says Stepp. "It's gratifying to see the kinds of results that come through the synergy of each individual's commitment to excellence."
