Bayswater- Modern Privilege amidst Victorian Charm

Elegantly poised in the West area of London in the city of Westminster, Bayswater is a vibrant built-up district carrying a distinct identity for its modern living amidst Victorian charm. Its rich architectural history is signified by the rich Georgian Stucco Terraces and garden squares which are still preserved amidst the rapid renovation taking place. Many of the Victorian houses are transformed in to hotels, majority carrying features denoting the Victorian identity.

Bayswater is home to a diverse local population consisting of Arabs, Greeks and Americans. It is also the hub for the Brazilian population in London. With its impressive architectural charms and modern establishments, Bayswater is a sort after destination among tourists visiting London.

This prime residential area is the home of many celebrities and is excellent for a fun filled night out with its hip and modern restaurants. Closely located is Queensway Street which is packed with Chinese and Mediterranean restaurants and an ice skating complex with a brand new ice rink, a bowling arena, hi tech video games, a bar and many more enticing attractions. Within close proximity are the Whiteley’s Shopping Center, Marble arch, Hyde Park and Opus Dei.

Arriving at Bayswater is more convenient with its array of tube stations such as the Bayswater Tube Station, Queensway tube Station and Royal Oak. Busses are also a popular method of transportation providing easy access to numerous locations.
