La Jolla, California – January 15, 2007 - Surf Diva Surf School, in association with the Safari Surf School of Nosara, Costa Rica, is now offering women’s surf adventures in Costa Rica: “Welcome to the Jungle!”
Surf Diva is the world’s premier surf school for women and was founded in 1996 by twin sisters Izzy and Coco Tihanyi. The school has been featured in the likes of Newsweek, Hers, SG, Shape, Apparel News, Teen Vogue, and on MTV.
The trips focus on caring and professional surfing instruction for women featuring experienced, high energy staff. Great meals are served daily featuring local specialties that incorporate the flavors of the jungle such as exotic fruits, fresh fish, local seafood, and other fresh produce. Activities include daily surf lessons and coaching, yoga, massage, jungle walks, and beach excursions. Izzy is very comfortable with the setting, as she has been traveling to Costa Rica since 1988. “I love the country and feel very comfortable with the area that we are surfing. “Viva La Diva” Packages will start at $2,075 for a week long surf safari, including all equipment and lessons. “Diva Deluxe” packages are also available for groups of four to six people and “Decadent Diva” packages include luxury lodging at a luxurious private ranch on a private beach, transportation on private jet, personal surf instructor, trainer, masseuse, personal chef, and much more.
