After crawling the internet day and night in search of free ebooks I have come to the conclusion that yes you can. There are sites that hand out free ebooks for joining their mailing list, or for signing up to a membership with them and paying either a 1-off payment or monthly/yearly subscription.
But then are the books really free? - Well no, because you're still paying for the books over the set time.
Are the books worth the asking price? - I'm not going to name and shame any specific sites but even the well known websites which rank well in google offer 100's and 1000's of downloadable ebooks simply for signing up to them and paying subscription, some even list the ebooks you will get BUT in actual fact these ebooks are of no use to us, they don't go into specific details about any subject, they're merely outlines to get you interested in buying a more in-depth ebook from the store itself.
So is this another marketing technique?? - MOST DEFINATLY, Do NOT sign up to an ebook store membership for free ebooks because you wont get the ebooks that they sell in the store, you will recieve their promotion ebooks which promote the sales of their websites.
